Where Theory Meets Practice:
School Tours Showing What Works

Join us for an exclusive look inside Fortune School, a pioneering public charter school network open to all and dedicated to closing the African American achievement gap.

Experience a unique opportunity to witness powerful pedagogy in action through guided school site tours—an exciting new feature of this year’s Summer Institute. These visits allow educators to see firsthand what effective, research-based teaching looks like in real classrooms.

You’ll observe how culturally responsive practices designed to support Black children elevate learning for all students. This is your chance to explore real-world examples of what works, understand how theory translates into practice, and walk away inspired by schools that are doing the work—and doing it well.
