Dr. Chris Emdin

Dr. Chris Emdin is an educator, author, and leading voice in urban education and culturally responsive teaching. He serves as the Maxine Greene Chair for Distinguished Contributions to Education at Teachers College, Columbia University and is Director of Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the STEAM DREAM & IdeaLab. Known for blending hip-hop culture with STEM education, Emdin is the creator of the #HipHopEd movement and Science Genius BATTLES.
